news-details

Recently, COSCO SHIPPING Logistics successfully delivered the first batch of reactors for the Yulong Island Refining-Chemical Integration Project (Phase I), effectively ensuring the progress of the project.

The first batch of cargoes included one hydrotreating reactor (33.3m long, 6.1m wide, 5.3m high, weighing 718.45 tons) and one hydrocracking reactor (29.75m long, 6m wide, 5.3m high, weighing 633.67 tons).

In order to ensure the smooth transportation of the equipment, the project team worked out a vigilant plan. While coordinating with the terminal and maritime administrations to make pre-shipping preparations, they also designed a detailed transportation plan matched with appropriate vehicles according to the cargo condition and carried out transportation simulation of heavy-loaded vehicles operating throughout the delivery process to determine the feasibility of the plan.

Thanks to the adequate advanced preparation, all of the equipment arrived safely at the scheduled location within the scheduled timeframe to meet the project timeline requirements.
